Volodymyr began his career at the State Tax Service of Ukraine where he engaged in detecting and investigating violations of tax legislation.
In 2007, he left the Tax Service to join the team of one of the leading investment companies in the Ukrainian market where he was responsible for the investment analysis and risk management. After that, Volodymyr worked in key analytical and finance positions at several leading investment companies in Ukraine where he gained significant experience in analyzing, structuring and supporting investment banking transactions.
In 2012, Volodymyr co-founded Rada Capital.
During his experience in investment banking, Volodymyr managed 18 successful transactions in Ukraine and abroad in tech, gaming, renewables and machinery.
Volodymyr has a degree in economic and law from the National State Tax Service University of Ukraine.
Michael co-founded Rada Capital in 2015.
From 2008 to 2015, Michael worked at several leading development and investment banking firms where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in attracting strategic and financial investors. Michael has extensive experience in such sectors as real estate, renewable energy, infrastructure, agriculture, FMCG and others.
From 2012 to 2015, Michael acted as an advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine on investment strategy.
Prior to starting his career in investment banking, Michael had served for 8 years in the Economic Intelligence unit of Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
Michael holds a PhD degree in International Economics and a Masters degree in Law with the specialization in international Corporate Law.
During his 12 years in investment banking, Michael worked on more than 20 deals in M&A, financing and restructuring with the total deal size in excess of EUR 400 million.
Mr. Shcherbyna has more than 20 years of banking experience at Ukrainian and international financial institutions.
Sergi began his career in banking in 1989. In 1998-1999 Sergi worked in Standard Bank Group (London), and from 1999 to 2001 Sergi was Head of Trade and Corporate Finance of the Ukrainian unit of the Dutch multinational banking and financial services company Rabobank.
From 2001 to 2004, Sergi held key positions in such banks as TAS-Commerzbank and Uakrgasbank.
From 2004 to 2010, he was Chairman of the Board of several leading banks in Ukraine.
From 2013 to 2017, Sergi served as Banking and Finance Strategy Advisor for the top Ukrainian legal company Astapov Lawyers (now Eterna Law) where he launched a new financial practice.
In 2017-2018, Sergi acted as CFO and Business Development Director of Ukrainian Investment Holding MTN.
During 2018-2020, Mr. Shcherbyna managed and advised a number of Ukrainian companies in the financial and real estate sectors on M&A, acquisition and restructuring of bad debts and toxic assets.
Sergi holds degrees from the Kyiv National Economic University and Bank Academie (Frankfurt am Main).
Naum joined Rada Capital in 2018.
Naum has nine years of advisory and project development experience in the RES sector in Ukraine and has participated in RES transactions with a total value of circa EUR 450 million.
In 2018-2019, Naum managed the sale of a 110 MW PV project portfolio to a top international IPP and had acted as the development partner and advisor to the IPP on the development and implementation of its 350 MW Ukrainian PV portfolio.
In 2017, Naum launched an Ukrainian RES developer and IPP, Volterra Energy Group, with subsequent exit to an international strategic investor.
From 2011 to 2017, Naum acted as the CIS partner for Traficon Advisors, one of the leading CEE financial advisors. In this capacity, Naum managed the development, structuring and financing of a more than EUR 250 million.
During 2013-2016, Naum served as a Board member of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency where he was responsible for government and investor relations and took an active role in the development and implementation of legal and regulatory initiatives aimed at creating a more secure and sustainable investment environment and attracting foreign investment.
